The title really is a promise! You're Gonna Love It Casserole is something you'll fall in love with immediately! It is essentially the most fantastic macaroni and cheese ever, with tender noodles saturated with a creamy, cheesy sauce and mixed with crunchy green beans. On top are crispy, savory fried onions, which add to the magic of each bite. You're Gonna Love It Casserole is just something you'll be raving about to everyone, because guess what? They will love it too!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces macaroni noodles, uncooked
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can cut green beans, drained
- 3 cups mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend, shredded
- 2 cups crispy fried onions
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 -Cook the macaroni to al dente according to package directions. Drain the pasta.
Step 4 -Pour the cheddar cheese soup and the heavy cream into a large mixing bowl.
Step 5 -Add the garlic powder, the onion powder, the salt, and the pepper to the cream mixture and whisk to combine.
Step 6 -Add the cooked macaroni to the bowl and stir until all of the noodles are coated in sauce.
Step 7 -Add the drained green beans to the bowl, stirring well.
Step 8 -Add 2 cups of the shredded cheese to the bowl and stir well.
Step 9 -Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Step 10 -Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the macaroni.
Step 11 -Sprinkle the crispy fried onions on top of the cheese and cover the dish with aluminum foil.
Step 12 -Bake the casserole for 20 minutes.
Step 13 -Remove the foil and continue baking the casserole until the crispy onions brown slightly, about 4-6 minutes.
Step 14 -Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes.
Step 15 -Serve.
