Ingredients

  • 1 (1-pound) roll breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a large bowl, mix together the cooked sausage, the cream cheese, and the tomatoes with green chilies.

Step 3 -Separate the rolls into the perforated triangles and cut each triangle in half lengthwise, making 2 triangles.

Step 4 -Using a small cookie scoop, scoop the sausage filling onto each triangle and roll the triangles up.

Step 5 -Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake until golden-brown, about 15 minutes.

Step 6 -Serve garnished with the parsley.
