Ingredients

  • oranges, to taste, sliced and quartered
  • sugar, to taste
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 (750-mililiter) bottle Champagne
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • grenadine, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Using one of the orange slices, rub the rims of two glasses.

Step 2 -In a shallow bowl, add the sugar and spread it out in an even layer.

Step 3 -Dip the rims of the glasses into the sugar to coat them.

Step 4 -Add 1 ounce of the tequila to each of the prepared glasses.

Step 5 -Fill each of the glasses about halfway with the Champagne.

Step 6 -Add 1/4 cup of the orange juice to each of the glasses.

Step 7 -Add a splash of the grenadine to each of the glasses.

Step 8 -Serve garnished with more of the orange slices.
