Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup store-bought basil pesto
- 3-4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, plus more to taste, shredded
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4-6 basil leaves, chopped
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 -In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and the basil pesto together.
Step 4 -Lay the chicken breasts flat into the prepared baking dish and evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the top.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the chicken with the cheese.
Step 6 -Bake, uncovered, until the chicken breasts' internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, about 30-45 minutes.
Step 7 -Garnish the chicken with the tomatoes and the basil.
Step 8 -Serve.
